This department offers different engagement possibilities: at the first contact point, which is a counselling service for homeless EU-citizens, at help-mobil which offers primary health care for homeless people and at the Krisenwohnen which is a shorttime accommodation for families and singles. As we want to learn from young people, the volunteers will be part of the team. The volunteers with their ideas, abilities and creativity will support the social workers in their daily activities with providing food and drinks to our clients, distributing clothes and helping the doctor and taking care of children during appointments. Furthermore, our clients will benefit from talking, playing, organizing additional offers like spare time activities and from helping them with their appointments and searching flats and work. The volunteer will get an insight into our social system, into our organization, into poverty and what it means and how policy in Austria handle it. Cultural exchange will bring benefits for everyone - the clients, the volunteers and the hosting department. Voluntariado Europeo en Wittenberg, Alemania en el departamento internacional del Instituto de Lenguaje y Cultura Alemán duración: 14-01-2019 hasta 30-09-2019 contacto: sve@mojodecana.org Descripción: In our project at the Institute for German Language and Culture we host one international volunteer who will be working together with another German volunteer. The main tasks are to be a contact person for our international course participants, to help them with questions regarding life in Germany, what to do during free times, how to meet other young people from Wittenberg and where to travel on weekends. During language course times the volunteers are working together to provide a variety of free time activities such as art workshops, sports events, arrange movie nights or barbecues, meetings to learn more about the student's countries and cultures etc. In the afternoon or on weekends volunteers accompany the student groups on their day trips to other cities, such as Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Halle and so on. During times when no courses are offered, the volunteers are supporting our team in the office and prepare their own projects for the next course.

CONCORDIA helps quickly and directly on site. We go where the need is greatest. CONCORDIA enables children to enjoy a happy and healthy childhood. We focus on building stable ties and strengthening families.The volunteers will have the possibility to work with our children and teenage beneficiaries. They can provide activities for children or teenagers or to participate in delivering lunches as home for the people in need. Other tasks are to come up with educational activities, to teach children some internet and computers skills, to teach English, to help children in preparation of the homework, to organize recreational activities, games, videos, excursions, exhibitions concerts, competitions; If possible, to provide different workshops of art, of painting, of manual work and other creative activities and other different activities. You will have an opportunity to produce several videos per month of different genres, connected with local youth and actual socio-cultural processes. Monthly productions results in Youth TV Magazine which is presented online. Some of them also on different film festivals. If you are interested in media education, you could improve your practical skills while co-mentoring in series of workshops and trainings for local youngsters. DZMP office is well-equipped with computers, as well as all needed for fieldwork and shooting process. Here you can learn the basics of directing, camerawork, lighting and post-production. You will get the chance to take part in the organization of DZMP's Luksuz film Festival. Volunteers are provided with the accommodation, money for food & local transportation, pocket money. Travel costs are partly refunded according to the rules of EU Erasmus+. Volunteer profile We are looking for self initiative, motivated, communicative, creative and responsible young people (18-30 years old) who are interested in media education and who would like to improve or develop their filmmaking skills. They should to be interested in working with young people, media, film and videos. It is desirable to have some basic knowledge of filmmaking or photography but this is not required. Basic knowledge of English is desirable.

SVE en el Regional Centre for Social Economy – CRES, Craiova, Romania duración: 26 week(s) during the period 01/12/2018 to 01/06/2019 fecha de entrega: 15/11/2018 contacto: sve@mojodecana.org Project description The volunteers of the DIY Project will be directly involved in the planning, organization and implementation of non-formal activities in educational institutions in the city of Craiova, activities directed towards the achievements of the project objectives. The main activity of the project is a 6 months EVS group activity that will involve 8 volunteers working in 4 high schools using non-formal methods and youth development principles to support personal and professional development of 120 students from 4 high schools and to raise knowledge of hate speech, tolerance and cultural diversity. The general objective of the project is to rise the capacity of 120 students to discover self and mutual interests, develop, plan and implement school wide non-formal activities that provide opportunities for engagement in school life for the entire school population. Profile of volunteers Aged between 18 to 30 years -active, open-minded, creative, innovative, responsible and motivated volunteers. The volunteers need to be pro-active and sociable as well to enjoy working with youth and to be ready to dedicate themselves for 6 months period long personal and professional development process. The volunteers of this project should, above all else, show willingness to learn and see their EVS experience as a learning process. Basic level of English (being able to make herself/himself understood by the others and to be communicative). Genuine interest in working with non-formal activity.

Activity duration: 1 st of February – 31st of July 2019 – 6 months contact: sve@mojodecana.org Fri-Son (Fribourg, Switzerland) is a music club, which exists since 1983. It is managed by a nonprofit organization called «Association Fri-Son » which is organized by a committee elected by the General Assembly. The committee is in charge of the strategy of the organization and hires the 10 office staff (general secretary, booker, communication manager, accountant, bar manager, infrastructure manager, technical managers, interns) while the office is in charge of the executive. The office works with about 13 working groups (security, bar, cloakroom, photography, cooking, cinema, evening organizer, decoration, book, sound, light, display, flyering). A total of 200 volunteers and staff work for Fri-Son. Most of our volunteers are aged between 16 and 35 years. Fri-Son hosts more than 50,000 spectators a year and allows 110+ Swiss and international bands to perform either on the big stage (up to 1300 people) or on the little one (up to 250 people). The arrangement and adaptability of the venue enable the organization of more than 130 events per year, for example: live gigs, special artistic events, cinema, dj nights. The volunteer can learn how a venue like Fri-Son functions during a whole year. The volunteer will be mostly working inside the venue. The tasks will be more “manual work” than “office work”. He-she can try most sector of work (bar, security, infrastructure, technique, cooking, decoration). He-she will be trained by the office team for the organization of events. The volunteer will be part of the team. Her/his weekly plan will look like this (not exhaustive!):  Tuesday & Wednesday: He/she participates in the production of the weekly events with the office team and other working groups. It means he/she will help us with the infrastructure (cleaning, preparation of the venue, backstage), cleaning and ordering the bar and the decoration.  Thursday, Friday & Saturday: he/she works at night or during the day discovering the others activities concerning the evening organization, like decoration, security, bar service, hosting artists.  Sunday & Monday would be the days off. Example of project: the volunteer could create a working group with the task of hosting the artists. The mission would be to prepare the backstage and to accommodate the artists during the day they spend at the venue. Important: all these activities will depend on the skills and on the motivation of the volunteer. The week agenda will also be organized with the consent of the volunteer.
